Job Description

Job Brief

Truck Services Analyst acts as a mediator between technology and the Program Manager. They will identify and strive to improve processes, reporting and data collection methods. The analyst will provide financial, performance and marketing data analysis on a daily basis. They will also analyze inventory data and approve purchasing orders per company standard operating procedures.

Data and reporting management

  • Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures.
  • Assist in database mapping and information collection technics.
  • Design, evaluate and recommend changes of forms and reports.
  • Review forms and reports and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements.

Business Performance

  • Gather organizational performance information.
  • Analyze business and financial data.
  • Confer with personnel to coordinate business operations.
  • Discuss business strategies, practices, or policies with managers.
  • Approve purchase orders of parts and analyze company inventory turn-over rates inventory.
  • Advise Program Manager on business or operational matters.


  • Gather and organize information on problems or procedures.
  • Analyze data gathered and assist in developing solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
  • Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
  • Prepare research reports.
  • Assist with on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used.
  • Plan targeted research of work problems and procedures, such as process change, communications, information flow, integrated production methods, inventory control, or cost analysis.
  • Conduct market research studies.


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred
  • Two years minimum of analyst experience or other related role
  • Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate with internal teams
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage own time to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment
  • Professional, flexible, and enthusiastic
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of database relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, including strong data and financial analysis skills
