Tire Solutions Specialist 1 – JC XXXXX
? Knows and follows safety guidelines and is alert to and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by employees and customers.
? Wears and uses protective equipment properly.
? Continually monitors personal and other employees' behavior for unsafe practices and takes corrective action when necessary.
? Trains in own position. Cross trains in other positions.
? Willingly helps other employees when needed.
? Upholds company standards.
? Notifies manager of positive and negative feedback from customers.
? Understands Company warranty policy.
? Understands basic tire terminology and applications.
? Diagnoses wear conditions and makes recommendations to customers.
? Provides tire quotes.
? Maintains new and retread par levels of tire inventory.
? Coordinates tire pick up & delivery of local book accounts.
? Receives all new tires, retread & other deliveries to ensure accuracy.
? Supports On-Site Team to facilitate additional tires needed during yard service.
? Coordinates weekly meeting with On-Site Team Lead to help generate tire sells.
? Pulls/Verifies sold inventory for proper size & fitment for technician’s installation.
? Reviews tire inventory sales mix weekly to ensure we have the right product represented in our location; i.e. size, tread, brand, etc., based on sales history.
? Maintains aged inventory for the location, works with other tire specialists in the area to consolidate aged product for quick sells or credits.

Tire Solutions Specialist Job Description Rev. 02.01.2017
? Trains tire solution program to truck service employees at the location.
? Daily grading of casings by Casing Criteria; Grade “A” or Grade “B”, used tire or scrap (transaction based).
? Maintains used tire program (assure that only credits are given on tires that meet Company specification).
? Maintains stock casing levels and submits quality casing to retread plant.
? Coordinates customer retreads delivery to and from retread plant.
? Monitor Scrap Tire Program, making sure only scrap tires are loaded on the scrap trailer.
? Facilitates tire adjustments for proper credits from manufactures to ensure accuracy & timeliness to location (follow up as needed).
? Supports TSA teammates with tire sales and efficiency of customer authorizations.
? Supports TQM with flow of tire work into the bays.
? Supports Road Squad team (reviews work order and pulls appropriate product).
? Supports technicians with tire portion of DOT inspections.
? Conduct free tire inspections at fuel islands.
? Conduct free tire surveys on parking lot.
? Monitors location POP Marketing compliance.
? Daily Meeting with GM/AGM to identify daily Unit Sales Target.
? Call on location target accounts.
