Job Description

Job Brief

This job is responsible for supporting POS and other customer order methods for multiple brands in the TA Restaurant Group (TARG).  Operations relies on the Point of Sale system to accurately ring in customer orders, charge customers appropriately, and act as the starting point for sales data to flow to TA Operations, Accounting, and Financial information systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage NCR Aloha Online Ordering system
    • Update Online Menu Database
    • Maintenance and trouble-shooting technology failures, provide direction and escalation
  2. Manage Promotional Coupon Code Database
  3. Manage NCR Aloha Loyalty
    • Program loyalty bonus plans and smart rewards systems
    • Provide customer service and technical support to guests via phone and /or email
    • Create monthly reports based on member data and behaviors
  4. Manage Aloha CFC database             
    • Execute change requests to established service level agreement times
    • Build database elements for new menu items, item changes, and price adjustments
    • Execute sales tax changes per direction from Tax Department
    • Support Franchise database changes as needed for participating franchise groups
    • Test changes made to database

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline preferred
  2. 2 years minimum working experience in database management, IT, or related field
  3. Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate with internal teams
  5. Ability to juggle multiple priorities and manage own time to ensure projects are completed on time
  6. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  7. Able to work in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment
  8. Professional, flexible, and enthusiastic
  9. Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  10. Working knowledge of database relationships
  11. Strong analytical skills, including strong data and financial analysis skills

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

In this role, the employee is continuously sitting and typing, frequently talking and using eye and hand coordination and may also be required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move objects.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Standing, walking, bending over, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally.
