Job Summary: 

The Marketing and Operations Analyst position is responsible for measuring and advising on ongoing marketing activity within our Food Service business units. The Analyst will serve the business units Marketing Director to measure and advise on marketing activity as it impacts appropriate marketing and business Key Performance Metrics (KPIs), including ROI. Significant activity of this role will be to provide the Marketing teams with key customer insights and advise/recommend to them where opportunity exists to grow our business. The Analyst will also support the Operations, Purchasing, and Beverage components of the business with supplemental reports and analysis which will aid them in identifying program successes and opportunities.

Job Duties:

  • Defines, creates and distributes analytical work to achieve stated EBITDAR and the business unit’s targets
  • Develops and maintains data warehouse dashboards for key marketing metrics of the business unit
  • Compiles and analyzes data and communicates business trends to management
  • Provide ongoing loyalty program analysis
  • Post event reporting and analysis done on a weekly and campaign basis. Report and advise on campaign impacts to sales, customer counts, transaction size
  • Restaurant marketing maturity analysis
  • Measure all marketing activity on an ROI basis
  • Identify marketing tactics that yield highest returns by market, customer segment, brand, etc.
  • Develop and maintain Product Mix reports and advise on items or categories that are over/underperforming
  • Create ad-hoc reports for various business units and provide analysis and/or recommendations as requested

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required 
  • Relevant marketing analyst work experience (3-5 years preferred) 
  • Requires strong analytical skills and computer knowledge including Microsoft Excel and Word. (Experience with CTUIT is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational and inter-personal skills required  
  • Ability to assess and prioritize project requests to ensure timely delivery of analysis
  • Requires ability to work independently on analytics and assigned projects. Candidate must be able to provide actionable insights and recommendations within the business context 
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate at all levels of organization both within TA and with external contacts including the ability to create and convey presentation material 
  • Requires extensive sitting, viewing and utilizing computer equipment, listening and speaking with telephone equipment, and walking
